Hangout On Air Office Hours- 20 February 2013 at 2:00 PST
Join us for a Hangout On Air!
First off, for those who had some difficulty with the last couple of hangouts, we were trying to use the G+ event system to associate it to a hangout. The problem is that if you do so, you can't broadcast it OnAir.
This time we're just creating an "event" entry, and to join, please go to the+Couchbase page at the time of the event to watch the broadcast or join in the hangout live. Most people found it last time, but if you had trouble please try this method!
What is this?
We at Couchbase like to regularly invite developers, admins and others to bring your questions about developing with Couchbase Server to our team. We'll have on hand the experts in many of the languages: Java, .NET, Ruby, PHP, etc.
When: Wednesday February 20 at 2:00PM PST, 5:00PM EST, 11:00PM 22:00 UTC/GMT
Where: Google+ Hangout On Air/YouTube
How: Post questions on G+, tune in for the broadcast to watch or watch the recording later.
Everyone can watch the broadcast from the Couchbase G+ page, there's no limit to the number of attendees. To interact with others on the hangout with voice/video, there is a limited capacity, but feel free to jump in when you have a question.
To be time efficient we prefer questions be asked in advance via a comment to this posting on the Couchbase Google Plus page, but we open it up for others to join and ask questions during the broadcast.
The broadcast will be available to everyone and recorded for later availability. This means is you'll be able to hear answers directly from a number of the Couchbase developers via a broadcast. As we get to your question, if you're on and we'd like to discuss it further, we'll invite you to jump in to the hangout. The broadcast will be posted to the CouchbaseVideos YouTube page (http://www.youtube.com/user/CouchbaseVideo) if you're not able to join us real-time.
If you have any questions, especially design-oriented questions, please post them here! Any questions will be answered live by the experts.
We'll also show some of the things we're working on. On deck for this meeting:
- Ruby EventMachine Support (from Sergey Avseyev)
- An update on Couchbase Lite for Mobile Devices (from Jens Alfke)
Of course, check out our previous hangouts at the YouTube link above!
