I am trying to create a document using the id of a document that was deleted. I am getting an error that says "Unknown error saving document".
Is there a reason that I am not allowed to reuse document IDs?

Their shouldn't be a problem reusing ID's. In our qa process we do this all of the time and it is a major part of our testing. Can you provide details on how you ran into this issue?
