I'am running version 2.0.0r-1-ge4c8742 on 2 Windows 2008 R2 Servers(Version: 6.1.7601)

If you add a new bucket (type Couchbase) with a name including a upper case letter like Test all servers go into mode pending and stays pending forever. Rebalancing stops working.

I believe this is caused by the fact that CouchDB does not support upper case letters in database name. If I try looking at the database using Futon I get all kids of error messages.

The workaround is of course not to use upper case letters in database name of type Couchbase but the system should not allow upper case letters in bucket name of type Couchbase.

I'm checking with our engineering team on this as we speak.

It appears this is in fact an issue, a side effect of some underlying CouchDB stuff.

We'll be working to either remove this limitation all together or at least prevent the user from getting themselves into trouble.

We need to think about existing Membase users obviously...
