Couchnode operation callbacks slow
I'm currently converting sql records to couchbase documents using couchnode. I've already exported all of the records to json strings and saved them to text files. In node.js, I will read the file into memory synchronously and essentially create an array of json docs to be stored in couchbase. Then I start iterating through and call add() with each doc.
The actual storing of the docs in couchbase is really quick (10,000 docs takes a few seconds), but the callbacks functions are called very slowly. It will take about 15 min for every callback to output the doc id to console for 10,000 documents. Sometimes the callbacks will start to fail by passing an error of "operation timed out"/23, yet all of the docs are stored successfully.
Is this a couchnode issue or am I just expecting more out of node.js than I should be?
