Couchbase-Server is not Running
I just installed Couchbase Server 2.0:
sudo rpm --install couchbase-server-community_x86_64_2.0.0-dev-preview-4.rpm
And, received a success message after the install:
Starting couchbase-server[ OK ] You have successfully installed Couchbase Server. Please browse to http://bdugandzic-nix:8091/ to configure your server. Please refer to http://couchbase.com for additional resources. Please note that you have to update your firewall configuration to allow connections to the following ports: 11211, 11210, 4369, 8091, 8092 and from 21100-to-21299. By using this software you agree to the End User License Agreement. See /opt/couchbase/LICENSE.txt.
However, I could not browse/connect to the server via the above address.
Checked the status:
[root@bdugandzic-nix ~]# /etc/init.d/couchbase-server status couchbase-server is not running [root@bdugandzic-nix ~]# /etc/init.d/couchbase-server start Starting couchbase-server[ OK ] [root@bdugandzic-nix ~]# /etc/init.d/couchbase-server status couchbase-server is not running
I do not get an error message when the Couchbase server starts. When I immediately check the servers status, its not running. Is there any known issue with the server not running. Or, is there a log where errors are stored?
