Couchbase Server 2.0 Developer Preview 2 released!
Hi all,
Because we've made great progress with fixes and improvements, we've decided to build/test/release new binaries of Couchbase Server 2.0 Developer Preview. If you're still working with the first preview, now is the time to update.
This update (sometimes called DP2) has significant performance improvements in both storing data to disk from memory and in querying views from the cluster. You'll find more information on the website[1] and in the release notes[2].
Along with that release, we've also updated developer previews for a number of the client library SDKs with both bugfixes and some new features:
Java: added pagination, refactored and simplified some of the view access [3]
.NET: added pagination capabilities [4]
Ruby: updated pagination, simplified dependencies and interface [5]
Thanks very much for all of the feedback and patches we've received thus far. I'm pleased to say we have a number of new contributors since we first released Couchbase Server 2.0 DP and the client libraries!
If you're looking to give us more feedback, either this mailing list or couchbase.org/forums would be appropriate. There are specific forums for both Couchbase Server 2.0 and the SDKs.
Thanks,
Couchbase Team
