Couchbase-server 2.0 not running and not installing in Mac OS X
HI
I just downloaded the latest beta on my Mac OS X 10.7.4
Ran the server, then tried to display the admin console.
What happens is the first page of the setup is displayed at http://localhost:8091
Then I click on setup and the following message displays:
couchbase Failed to get initial setup data from server. Cannot continue. Would you like to attempt to reload the web console? This may fail if the server is not running.
Then it displays an error page like:
Oops! Google Chrome could not connect to 127.0.0.1:8091
If you have any idea about what is going on, that would help.
Thanks
Tom
It worked at first, but after restarting my computer we're back to the same issue.
How could I provide the logs? I have couchbase-server.log and CouchBase.log
Thanks
Can you please create a bug and attach the logs?
hi, was this resolved ? I"m getting the same error.
Hello Amiracam,
Which version have you installed 2.0.0 or 2.0.1?
Have you uninstalled your previous version?

Anything in the log?
Regards
This is not expected.
Can you try removing the data under ~/Library/Application Data/Couchbase and then see if the issue persists? If it does, then we may want to get you to gather cbbrowse_logs output.
