Couchbase Mobile roadmap to change as of January 2012

Hi,

Couchbase Mobile is evolving and as of January 2012 will be discontinued as a standalone product. Read the blog to learn more about the plans for Couchbase mobile.

From a personal perspective, let me also add that myself and a number of others don't want this to be seen as a decommitment to mobile. This is mostly about how Couchbase (the company) plans to package and sell solutions built around Couchbase Mobile.

All of the work we've been doing on development will continue in conjunction with the community and continue to be Open Source. I'm sure a number of you have seen the great work coming out from Jens and Marty lately. We definitely expect that to continue.
