couchbase and windows azure reboot
windows azure periodically reboots the host machine(http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windowsazure/hh543978.aspx) thus causing the corresponding vms to be rebooted.
a) When a vm(couch base server) reboots, what happens to pending writes in disk queue during this time. Or they always lost? Or is there a workaround to prevent the data loss?
b) If the couchbase server being rebooted has the primary data for a vbucket. What happens to the requests to this vbucket during the vm reboot? Will they just fail till the vm comes up or will they be redirected to other servers having the replicas?
c) After the couchbase server comes back after reboot and gets added back to the cluster. Will the data on this vm be wiped out as its a new addition? or will it be preserved and the couchbase server can function exactly as before the reboot?
