Couchbase 2.0.0 on OpenVZ
I was asked to install Couchbase 2.0 on a virtual machine that is hosted on a current 2.6.32 OpenVZ-host but unfortuantely I ran into this bug: http://www.couchbase.com/issues/browse/MB-7626
How exactly do I get Couchbase to use os_mon-2.2.10? Symlinking /usr/lib/erlang/ to /opt/couchbase/lib/erlang/ didn't do the trick. Also just symlinking os_mon-2.2.10 into /opt/couchbase/lib/erlang/lib/ didn't work.
A quick hint would be much appreciated as we want to start developing before 2.0.1 is released which supposedly fixes this issue. I would also be inclined to test a RC of 2.0.1 if available.
Greetings and thanks for the great work,
Joe
yes i did, but to no avail.
I found out that the workaround for http://www.couchbase.com/issues/browse/MB-4376 cures this bug (see the posts in MB-7626).
greetings,
Joseph
