Hi, I'm new here. I noticed two missing pieces of basic information for new people.

1) The links to the Membase FAQ here in the forums and from the getting started page, appear to be broken.

2) The getting started doc says to use Ubuntu version 10-something. I wanted to know if I could use a later version such as Ubuntu 11.04, and the only place I found that info on Couchbase.org was here on this forum, in a thread where someone happened to mention that's what they were using.

Just writing to suggest these be updated, for others' sake.

Thanks Dronz. I updated the link in the forums...what getting started page are you referring to exactly?

For your second question, we currently only QA up to Ubuntu 10.04. While it's likely that it will work on newer versions, we are not currently able to provide commercial support for it.

Thanks!

Perry

Thanks Perry!

The other broken link to the FAQ was actually one page away from the Membase getting started page, on the Membase docs page at http://www.couchbase.org/products/membase . The link to "FAQs" still is broken.

On the second question, either I was misreading it, or it got updated, where (on http://docs.couchbase.org/membase-getting-started-1.7/index.html) it lists 9.10 and 10.04 as the currently supported versions. I thought when I read it before, it only said 9.10.

Cheers,

Dronz

Thanks Dronz, I'll get that one fixed as well.
