Document view under the Data Buckets tab seems to refuse to return any documents at all. Doesn't work either by entering a docid manually, or clicking on a link under the Documents Filter.

When clicking on a docid link I get "Error: notfound (Document does not exist)".

Pasting a known good docid into the search field and clicking "Lookup ID" produces
"Error: query_parse_error (No rows can match your key range, reve...." (rest of error
message text is clipped).

A similar lack-of-document viewing is experienced in the view editor at as well.
Any docid links returned by a view query result can not be displayed by clicking
on the docid link (in fact, nothing at all happens).

Needless to say, these functions all worked flawlessly in DP4 and through the later
rels.

Any ideas? Thanks.

Chris,

I was just playing around the server today (latest code, not beta) and did not experience this issue. Can you provide more specific details on what led up to you seeing this issue? If you provide them I will pass this on to our QE team for them to reproduce it.

Thanks,
- Mike

Mike,
I have ~300K documents from a DP4 cluster I've been backing up and restoring (via cbbackup and cbrestore on a single server with the rel-1495 code since those two utils don't work on DP4: see here for my post on this
http://www.couchbase.com/forums/thread/upgrade-dp4-1495rel) to a beta 2.0 cluster.

All the documents seem to restore just fine, and the item counts in the bucket match. However I can't actually view any of the documents via the admin GUI. Also when executing a view from the admin GUI, the links to the document ID's in the query result won't return the document.

I could certainly provide screenshots if that would help.

Thanks.

-Chris
