What is the max byte (or megabyte) size of an item that can be placed into the cache?

I'm certain it is documented someplace, but I can't seem to find it.

Are there any built in schemes to split an item that is too big into chunks for caching?

Thanks

Marc

Marc,

Happy to help.

The maximum size of an item is 20 MB. At this point of time there are no built in schemes to split items. This definitely seems like a good idea. I will add it to the feature list.

Thanks

Bhawana

Bhawana:

If I'm running in memcached mode, is the max item size still 20MB, or is it 1MB?

thanks

Marc,

In the memcached mode the   item size limit is 1MB.

Thanks
