Hi there!

It seems that at the moment, Couchbase only exposes a memcache API for accessing the actual data. This should preferably be done by smart clients.

I am very interested in the features that Couchbase has over CouchDB. I would love replace my CouchDB instances with Couchbase one day. However, this means I need to be able to access data via HTTP.

What are the odds of an "HTTP Proxy"? (the same way as the membase proxy for non-smart clients that already exists)

Or did I overlook something?

Thanks in advance for your answers!

Cheers,
Kosta
