Hello,
I have installed memcached server on Windows7 64bit machine.
The system is working except storing data with (valid) expiry date. I'm receiving success from the Set operation, but Get returns null.
I'm using BeIT memcached client for .Net.

Could you please help me to resolve the issue?

Thanks,
Dmitry

Hi Dmitry,

This is a known issue, and we have a fix which is currently in testing. I'll update this thread soon and let you know what the schedule looks like for getting this fix released. It should be soon.

Sorry for the trouble,

- Matt

Hi Matt,

Where does this issue hit? Only Windows 7? Only 64 bit? I am running into a problem where items seem to disappear from the cache even though we set the timespan to 29 days. We don't see any evictions in the web interface

Hi Chanan,

The issue affects, we believe, all 64-bit Windows. We have a fix for this and one or two other items and are working on getting that out asap.

You would not see evictions if the items have been expired, so this could well be the issue.

Hi Matt,

Is there an estimated release date for this fix?

1.0.3 fixes this issue and is now downloadable from northscale.com. Was not .NET specific so if using java you may want to get 1.0.3
