From a thread asking about release of 1.6 in the Memcached Forum, you posted:

The plan is to GA it towards the end of this month. We will have a new beta release very shortly which will include the initial support for memcached buckets.

We're hoping to use Membase in some of our live production architecture soon so I am curious as to what the schedule is looking like right now for the GA release so we can plan things accordingly.

Thanks guys, (Or, Thanks Perry)

Thanks for your continued interest Shawn. We are putting the final touches on the release candidate as we speak and GA is planned for release early next week.

Perry
