All, I'm very happy to announce the release of our Membase Server version beta 4. It includes support for memcached bucket types and you can now configure buckets to be accessed via SASL or a separate port (very useful for non binary or non-SASL clients). You can also now use a client-side Moxi process with memcached to get connection pooling and dynamic configuration when the cluster topology changes. We will still have the 1.0.3 version available until we GA the 1.6 version, but I would like to get as many people using this as possible as quickly as possible. Thanks very much, please feel free to reach out to me for any questions or issues. You can also use this forum (http://forums.membase.com/forumdisplay.php?6-Membase-Membase-Server-Beta) for any feedback specific to the Membase Server. Perry Krug Beta Program Manager
