We have installed Membase on two new servers running Windows Server 2003 Standard. When trying to join one to the other as a cluster, it first says you have successfully been joined to the cluster. However, it shows it as not being joined. When you try to join again, it then tells you that it can't join because there are already buckets configured, which there aren't as these are brand new installs.

Ideas?

We've seen some artifacts like this in the web console...what happens when you refresh the page? Also, what does the other node show? Can you double check any firewall (either Windows or external) settings to make sure the necessary ports are open?

When you refresh the page it's like nothing happened. No joining of the clusters, no nothing. The other node shows the same behavior.

Firewall (internal/external) is not running on either server; not clustered; on the same subnet; only one IP assigned to the NIC; no ports blocked.

Dave, can you send the output of http://:8080/diag from both machines?

Thanks.

Perry
