Membase Server 1.7.1 contains the following new features:

Automatic Failover
When a node within your cluster fails, and there is enough headroom in the remaining nodes to handle the additional load, automated failover can increase system availability. For more information, see Section 5.5.1, “Automatic Failover”
Cluster Restore
Easier cluster restore functionality makes it easier to get your cluster online during a backup/restore procedure. See Section 4.7, “Backup and Restore with Membase” for more information.
