JSON de-serialization issue

Hi,

The code below shows how we are using a View to fetch results.

IView list = _cache.GetView(entityIndex.DesignDoc, entityIndex.View, true).Keys(keys);

if (list != null && list.Count() > 0)
{
results = list.ToList();
}

The issue is that...

What is the max size of index of a view

Is there any default Index size in Couchbase for a View?

We are seeing older objects disappearing once the View size increases to about 30,000 objects in our case.

The newer objects can be queried from the view.

Sunil Singh

What is the best way to get documents after querying a view?

I've been pondering about this for a while now and have looked around on here and elsewhere for the answer but I am unable to find anything that answers a trivial question.

How about official native Erlang client ?

It's very sad, that project in which Erlang code take big share has no native client for Erlang. It's only thing which prevent using your beautiful software in big distributed projects. When it's possible to get native (not third-party) client for Erlang ?

Query Current Leader

I was wondering if it was possible to tie into or query the couchbase leader election process.

We have another application running on the same servers as couchbase that require leader coordination and using something like zookeeper or implementing raft ourselves seems like overkill if we...

limitations of memcached buckets in 2.1

Hi,

I'm looking at using couchbase memcached bucket as a replacement for redis. My main motivation is horizontal scaling. The reason I want to use memcached is to get better response times, and have the data fully in memory.

I found the documentation below, which is relevant to 1....

Get Operation - Misses

I noticed, when I am making Get operation, for an existing object, it does not retrieve the item sometimes
and comes back with null and status id 0 and no exception.

It happens rarely, but I wanted to see if anybody else saw same kind of behavior.

I am 100% sure that the item...

what is the best way to check if couchbase server is online using .net client

We have a requirement to check the availability of Couchbase at regular interval before performing any get() , search() or update() operation .

So that if Couchbase is not available at that moment we can avoid using Couchbase .

What is the right way of reconnecting upon initial connect error?

If couchbase server is down at the time of first lcb_connect call then libcouchbase will not automatically reconnect.

Right now I use workaround, by issuing another call to lcb_connect after some time (when server is possibly back again). It helps, but there are problems:

1. No...
