Couchbase Hosts 400 Developers and Users at CouchConf San Francisco 2012
Excitement grows with announcement of Couchbase Server 2.0 Beta at second-annual SF event
MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA – October 1, 2012 – Couchbase, the leader in NoSQL database technology, today announced highlights from its second-annual CouchConf San Francisco held on September 21.
Approximately 400 NoSQL developers and users joined the event to learn about the recently released beta of Couchbase Server 2.0, as well as see customer presentations and hear from Couchbase and industry experts using NoSQL technology.
“It was exciting to see so many Couchbase community members and users at CouchConf San Francisco and to provide a venue for them to hear real-world user stories, share their experiences, and expand their skills,” said Bob Wiederhold, CEO of Couchbase. “The surge in attendance this year is further evidence that interest in open source NoSQL technology is continuing to escalate, as is demand for Couchbase Server, especially with the beta release of 2.0.”
